Dr. Rieniets is an ABIM board certified Endocrinologist who completed allopathic (or MD) residency and fellowship training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, but she has a background in osteopathy (DO). As a board-certified Endocrinologist Dr. Rieniets provides endocrine care supported by best practice guidelines and clinical evidence; however, she also adheres to the osteopathic philosophy of "patient heal thyself" encouraging patient education, lifestyle therapies, and collaborative patient-provider relationships.

West Denver Endocrinology is an adult outpatient Endocrinology "micropractice" clinic. Micropractice doctors operate in small unconventional clinics without support staff.
